About Us

Kalyan Bhattacharya is a distinguished Indian classical vocalist with over 40 years of training and performance experience. He began his musical journey under the guidance of his grandfather Sri Debprasad Acharya, followed by his mother Smt. Chhabi Bhattacharya, and later trained under Sri Ajit Bose, Sri Swapan Basu, and Sri Jayanta Bose, gaining deep mastery in Hindustani classical music and its allied forms.

At the age of 14, he made his debut on All India Radio, and in 1998, he won the All India Star Contest, establishing himself as a promising talent in the Indian classical music landscape. For the past 20 years, he has been engaged in experimental musical work, exploring a unique confluence of music, yoga, and tantra, blending tradition with innovation.

He has served as a mentor at the Indian Idol Academy and, for over 10 years, has been a vocal groomer on Zee Bangla Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, guiding and shaping countless aspiring singers on their musical journeys.
